Installing Arokio on Windows
Windows shows a blue warning screen the first time you open Arokio. Nothing has gone wrong. This page walks through it one step at a time. It takes about a minute.
Why the warning appears. Windows keeps a list of software it has seen many people install. Arokio is new, so it is not on that list yet. Every new program starts this way, and the warning goes away as more churches install it.

Download the installer
On the front page, choose Download for Windows. The file lands in your Downloads folder. Its name starts with Arokio.

Open the file you downloaded
Double-click it. If your browser asks whether to keep the file, choose to keep it.

You will see a blue screen that says “Windows protected your PC”
This is the screen described above. Do not close it. There is a small link on it called More info.

Click “More info”
The screen grows and shows the name of the app and its publisher. A button appears at the bottom.

Click “Run anyway”
The installer starts. Follow it through, and Arokio will be on the computer.

Open Arokio
You will find it in the Start menu. You only see the blue screen once, during installation — never again after that.
If something looks different
Windows changes the wording of these screens between versions, and some church computers are managed by someone else, which can block the install entirely. If you get stuck, write to hello@arokio.com and tell us what the screen says. A photo of it taken with your phone is perfect.
